good friends, good food

When Lili came to Portland we tried to cram as much as possible between my naps. There was Velveteria, the black velevet painting museum and Voodoo Doughnut (where was my camera then?!) We went and saw Wade McCollum in Hedwig and the Angry Inch -- f-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c! And there was lots of sitting around tables full of good food and conversation.

The night before we headed south, Al and Eileen made sure I would miss being home with a fantastic dinner and a few familiar faces...
